The Buds of Spring

We don't have a garden, with the dogs and all, but I do have a small plot on the side of the driveway where Rhubarb grows. It comes back year after year. It's indestructible despite being driven on and plowed over, so full of life nothing can stand in its way.

  1. Thats early rhubarb? I don't think I've seen it just budding before.

At our last house, we had a patch of rhubarb, and I'll bet its still there. It did seem to thrive on neglect.

    Nice images!!

  2. Rhubarb is very hardy and great in pies. Happy Easter.

  3. Thanks for your comments. I have been harvesting it every year and use it in deserts - adds a nice tang. It also freezes nicely once you make it into a compote.
