Foggy Morning

I've got a lot of catching up to do and since there isn't much going on birdwise locally I'm going to take a break in blogging until spring unless something exciting turns up.

 Pigeon Flock

Corn Stalks

Until Spring! Cheers!

  11. Judging by the corn stalks, there certainly is a dearth of birds.
Hope you get caught up with all you need to do quickly and surpise us with more wonderful birds.

  12. Hilke, I quite understand the difficulty of banging out post after post when there's a lack of subject matter. I hope you don't mean you won't be following your favorite blogs though, I would miss you very much indeed.
These are lovely pictures and though bleak, we know spring and so the migration is coming.
    Take care, Dave

  21. Really. Yes, I am looking forward to the Spring migration too :)

I have found that, for me, Winter is the best time to spot some of our song birds. The trees are bare, so they can be easily seen, and they are hungry:)

Have a nice break....see you in Spring.

    1. Thanks, Tammy. You must be living in a different climate. The only birds we see here are pigeons, crows, and blue jays. All others have fled south.
